PACTL anticipates record-breaking 2015

After processing 1,458,263 tonnes of freight during the first eleven months of the year, PACTL has achieved tonnage growth of 6.82% year-on-year, compared to 2014. The company handled more than 1.5m tonnes of air freight for the very first time in 2014.

PACTL’s domestic cargo volume grew by 8.47% year-on-year to 94,707 tonnes during the first eleven months of 2015, while its international cargo volumes rose by 6.71% to 1,363,556 tonnes. Imports increased by 9.08% to 590,669 tonnes, while exports grew by 5.33% to 867,594 tonnes.

Vice President of PACTL, Lutz Grzegorz, is optimistic that the strong figures will continue, commenting: “Even though growth rates have been stronger in the past, I can still see a positive trend in our business and this will almost certainly enable us to set another record for freight volumes in 2015.”
