On November 29, PACTL Nantong Xingdong Airport Cargo Terminal Co. Limited, to be known as PACTL NTG, was officially founded when the two parties signed an agreement. Nantong airport will hold a 51% stake in PACTL NTG and PACTL a 49% share, with registration of the new company scheduled for completion by the end of December 2016. The two shareholders will register a total capital of RMB 18m.
In addition to cargo terminal services, PACTL NTG will initially offer passenger baggage handling, aircraft loading and freight forwarding services, with further services to be added in accordance with customer demand.
Nantong airport expects to see its position in the domestic cargo market strengthened aas a result of enhanced cargo handling capabilities.
