UN awards contract to AAR for airlift services in Central Africa

AAR has announced that it has been awarded a contract by the United Nations for airlift services in Central Africa, valued at approximately US$19m.

AAR Airlift will provide passenger and cargo air charter services in support of the MONUSCO operation, the United Nations Organisation Stabilisation Mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Operations, which will include rotary-wing aircraft, flight operations, maintenance and logistical support, will begin in July 2015 and continue 3 years.
