
The fuelling unit will deliver about 85 operations a day and Swissport has inherited Shell Aviation’s customer portfolio of major airlines including Finnair, Japan Airlines, Ryanair, Qatar Airways, Air France, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Turkish Airlines, Juneyao Air, and Danish charter Sunclass Airlines.”

Prior to the pandemic, Swissport fuelled over 2.3 million flights annually, averaging one every 14 seconds, across its network.
Through its Swissport-branded fuelling network in North America and Europe, and a partnership with Aviation Fuel Services in Germany, Swissport’s fuelling business covers 42 airports in 7 countries.
In Helsinki, Swissport has been supporting airlines since 2011, providing ground services, managing Finnair's home base including operating the Finnair Cargo COOL warehouse, and offering passenger services, ramp handling and aircraft de-icing.
