Swissport Canada, a subsidiary of Swissport International, has signed a contract with Mexico's Interjet.
Under the terms of the contract Swissport Canada will provide ground handling services for the airline’s operations at Montreal Trudeau International and Toronto Lester B Pearson International airports.
Comprehensive ground handling services will include passenger and ramp handling, baggage services, operations co-ordination and load control. Montreal services will be inaugurated on July 13 2017, with six weekly flights, and Toronto will follow shortly thereafter (on July 28), with eight weekly departures. The airline will operate flights to Canada from both Mexico City and Cancun.
