
The new partnership, effective April 15, will see Swissport provide flydubai with full range ground handling services, including passenger, ramp and baggage services, along with operations co-ordination and load control.
Now in operation some eight years, flydubai has estblished a network of more than 85 destinations across 43 countries, operating in excess of 1,600 flights every week. “With up to six flights a day, Muscat is an important destination on the flydubai network,” commented Hamad Obaidalla, Chief Commercial Officer, flydubai. “We look forward to working with Swissport Oman in support of our ground handling operations and we know that they will continue to help enhance the efficiency of our operations.”
Swissport’s Senior Vice President Ground Handling Middle East and Africa, Mark Skinner, added: "We are proud to deliver our professional ground handling services to flydubai at Muscat International airport.
