Central European cargo handler Skyport has been selected by Finnair Cargo to deliver its cargo handling requirements at Prague airport, in the Czech Republic.
Finnair Cargo will be handled at Skyport’s semi-automated 8,300 square metre airside facility in Prague, which has recently been upgraded as part of ongoing technology investments by its new owner Ventus.
Infrastructure investment firm Ventus and Singapore company Sky Logistica teamed up to buy Skyport in April and are focused on optimising its existing facilities in Prague and Bratislava and Košice, both in Slovakia, to unlock additional capacity by deploying technology to enhance operations.
