After a successful migration process, the departure control system from Amadeus Altea is now present at 30 airports in ten different countries within the Swissport network, supporting the handling process of 7m passengers. It effectively replaces Swissport’s existing departure control system (axsControl DCS by DXC) at these airports.
The selection of Amadeus Altea’s solutions is the result of an in-depth search and evaluation process. Along with the new departure control system, Swissport chose SITA as the provider for telex messaging. The migration of 421 telex addresses to SITA has now been completed and the new system is currently in use at 139 airports worldwide.
