
There are in excess of 60 electric baggage tractors in the airport's fleet and each is powered by a Colibri Energy lithium-ion battery.
The first stage of the airport expansion features 86 check-in counters, ten baggage claim belts, 40 gates for both departures and arrivals, as well as 29 aircraft stands with jetbridges.All incoming and outgoing flights will be transferred from the current terminal to the newly constructed one.
