Fiji Airways and Swissport extend partnership in New Zealand

Fiji Airways and Swissport have extended their partnership in New Zealand to provide ramp and passenger services for another three years.

The deal started on 16 December with Swissport supporting daily flights from Auckland to Nadi using an Airbus A330, three a week from Christchurch with a Boeing 737 MAX, and two a week from Wellington also using a 737 MAX.

Brad Moore, Managing Director Australasia at Swissport says: “We have supported Fiji Airways for several years in New Zealand and are honoured to be playing a bigger role in the restart of flying between the two countries, helping reunite families and re-open the popular leisure market.”

Andre Viljoen, Managing Director and CEO of Fiji Airways says: “As we eagerly await Kiwis looking to travel to Fiji and Fijians looking to travel once entry requirements are eased in the new year, we expect to ramp up our flights from Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington quite significantly.”
