Customers will now be able to lease the Opticooler, the newest technology of active containers, from China Airlines on their network.
The Opticooler is a temperature-controlled storage facility that protects the integrity of vital pharmaceuticals as they are transported around the world, regardless of changing environmental conditions. The technology works using electric, battery-powered cooling compressors and heaters to maintain a set temperature inside the Opticooler.
“With DoKaSch Opticooler, we are able to offer our customers a particularly reliable container for their extremely temperature-sensitive air cargo shipments,” the airline said. “In this strongly competitive market, it is key that we offer our shared customers the best possible solution for their most precious cargo.”
Andreas Seitz, Managing Director of DoKaSch Temperature Solutions, added, “We are very pleased to make our Opticooler available through China Airlines. Especially as Asia, and in particular Taiwan, is one of the main hubs for the fast-growing market of pharma goods.”
The co-operation between DoKaSch and China Airlines has made the Opticooler deployable across China Airlines’ entire network of 93 destinations in 27 countries.
