The Airside Training Academy is a joint venture between Tecknotrove Systems, a global leader in simulation technologies, and the ZAKA group, an aviation services group.
Delhi airport becomes the first airport in the country to introduce Airside Driving Simulators to train and test drivers who operate on the airfield. The simulators are developed and customised by Tecknotrove Systems to suit the airpport's particular requirements. The simulated training and testing scenarios are highly realistic and virtually mapped and are customised to train operators on specific scenarios on the layout at Indira Gandhi International airfield.
TecknoSIM Airport Driving Simulators were installed at the airport in June 2019. The academy was inaugurated by Videh Kumar Jaipuriar, CEO DIAL, in the presence of the COO of DIAL, Doug Webster, PP Singh, (Vice President - GMR Group), Shantanu Gupta, the CEO of Tecknotrove Systems and Faizal Siddique, the CEO of the Zaka Group.
