Tecknotrove's new simulation software

Tech Talk
Airline business has become more complex and volatile than ever before and the business's profitability is highly dependent upon how quickly an aircraft can be turned around.

Aircraft turnaround, of course, is dependent on a host of factors that include passenger boarding, cargo loading and unloading, refuelling, cabin cleaning and galley servicing.

Cargo loading, though, is one of the most critical and time-consuming airside operations and one that demands specific training. Even though there is training available on load planning and pushback, for example, until now there was no such training available for the operators who actually work airside with cargo loaders.

Tecknotrove identified this need and recently launched its Advanced Cargo Loader simulator that aims to train operators on a variety of aircraft, and within a spectrum of cargo and loading conditions. The TecknoSIM Cargo loader is actually an advanced simulator that is a replica of the actual equipment.

Helpfully, it combines actual equipment controls and levers, as in the original equipment. The dynamics of the cargo loader equipment and the loading operations are further designed to give a realistic experience to the operator with respect to both aircraft type and load.
