This is the second acquisition of its kind for Amadeus in the past 15 months and will enable the company to serve the North American market, which is a crucial region for the airport IT sector. AirIT's solutions will provide Amadeus with a strong customer base as it is already used by more than 115 airlines and 120 airports predominately in the US, Canada, and the Caribbean, 30 of which are from the top 50 busiest airports in the US, including Atlanta, Dallas, Los Angeles, Miami, and Charlotte.
