WISAG's entry, as the successor to Acciona Airport Services Frankfurt, has been conducted seamlessly, according to the handler.
For WISAG, it has been an ongoing objective to work towards a solution that would be acceptable for both parties in connection with the transition of ground handling services at Frankfurt airport. The bilateral agreement of transition was the starting point, since it assured continuity for both the former Acciona staff and its clients. Employee jobs have been guaranteed at equal status through the recognition of the collective wage agreement. Customers have also been assured that all services will continue seamlessly, and at the usual level of quality.
Hakan Sener, formerly Station Manager Acciona and now Station Manager for WISAG in Frankfurt, commented: ‘We are happy that our future has been assured.
