Progress is well underway for TNT's Liège ExtraFit project, initiated last year.
In 2014, TNT Express Euro HUB began a major project to upgrade its parcel handling and sorting facilities at Liège Airport Belgium, as part of which, SACO was commissioned to take on the installation and relocation of the ULD handling equipment. During the first six months of the year, a total of 3,500 square metres of castor deck and 140 reload/offload roller decks with weighing systems were installed. Additionally SACO has supplied various scissor lifts for lowering workstations, slides for the sorting equipment, crash barriers and walkways.
