Thomas Cook signs with Jettainer

On May 5, at the Air Cargo Europe Exhibition in Munich, Thomas Cook Group Airlines signed a contract with Jettainer, deferring the management and servicing of all its airfreight containers to the company.

To mark the occasion, one of Jettainer's new ultra-light containers was symbolically handed over at the signing ceremony.

Since 2006, the ULD management company has been working for Condor, the leisure airline of the Thomas Cook Group, and will now cover Thomas Cook Airlines UK and Thomas Cook Airlines Scandinavia as well. Operations with the two airlines will start in the fall. With this move, all of the group's ULD management is dealt with by one company, totalling some 1,800 ULDs for the entire Thomas Cook Group Airlines.
