Under the new agreement, Swissport will expand its network in Mexico to 28 stations, including Cancun, Monterrey, Chihuahua and Guadalajara, and provide a complete portfolio of passenger and ramp handling services. The collaboration sees the current owners of AGN take up key positions within the merged company.
Juan-José Andrés Alvez, EVP Europe South, UK/IE, MEA, LATAM & Global Commercial at Swissport International, commented: "AGN is a customer-centric organisation with a material local footprint. The partnership will strengthen Swissport´s position in Mexico, bring across strong management capabilities and pave the way for further expansion within the region – it enables us to offer our customers a country-wide and multi-station solution with the highest standards of quality and reliability."
