Ryanair has awarded Skytanking Italy a six-year contract to provide services at Verona Catullo Airport.
The contract will start on 1 November 2024 with the Skytanking Aviation Services company providing above and below wing services.
Skytanking will take on up to 60 employees from Ryanair’s current provider under TUPE transfer regulations subject to consultations with the unions and staff in accordance with Italian law.
Charles Galloway, SVP of Ground Handling at Skytanking Aviation Services, said: “This is an exciting step in the growth of our ground handling network. We are appreciative of the confidence Ryanair has in our team, and we look forward to a smooth transition process as we enter the Italian market.”
The Verona deal is the third contract Ryanair has awarded Skytanking after Aberdeen International Airport and Eindhoven Airport.
