Ground handling and inflight catering service provider SATS has reported a 4% increase in net profit to S$62.1m for the second quarter of 2016.

Revenue for the period from July to September increased 3.7% to S$438.5m, while earnings per share were 5.6 Singapore cents compared to 5.4 Singapore cents a year ago.
Group expenditure also increased, by 3.1% to S$374.9m. Expenditures were higher in most categories except cost of raw materials, company premises, and utilities expenses, the group said.
