SAHCOL takes on handling operations for Allied Air and UPS

The Skyway Aviation Handling Company has won contracts to provide ground handling provisions for Allied Air and UPS.

SAHCOL’s General Manager, Corporate Communications, Basil Agboarumi, has said that the relocation of Allied Air’s handling operations to SAHCOL took effect from October 2, 2017, making SAHCOL the official ground handling partner for the Nigerian cargo airline across Nigeria.

Allied Air, which began operations in 1998, is designated on numerous routes across Africa under the Bi-lateral Services Agreement and is the first IOSA certified Cargo Airline in Nigeria.

In addition, Agboarumi announced the migration of United Parcel Services’ cargo warehousing operations to SAHCOL, making it the hub of UPS consignment warehousing. UPS’ operations at the SAHCOL warehouse commenced on November 7.
