SAHCOL's fuel bowser is the first in the history of Nigerian ground handling to be created from scratch from locally sourced materials. The idea to create the equipment was conceived by SAHCOL's engineering team, and aligns with the Nigerian maxim of "Use Nigeria Buy Nigeria." The production of the equipment should translate into higher levels of efficiency and safety.
With a 3,000 litre capacity, the equipment can be operated either manually or with battery power. The GSE, which is towable, has all the features of an imported fuel bowser, but with modifications suited to the Nigerian environment. This new bowser is designed to be both rugged and comfortable for use by handlers and will permit the rapid refuelling of other GSE in a safe and spill-free manner.
