Skyway Aviation Handling has expanded its GSE fleet with some ultra-modern equipment so as to adjust to the expansion of its business activities.
The equipment includes air conditioning units, ground power units, toilet bowsers, water bowsers and baggage carts.
SAHCO procured three ACUs from France-based Guinault, which are fitted with Tier IV engines in compliance with EPA emissions requirements for off-highway diesel engines. Similarly, the ACU systems are fitted with a SIM card that is used to monitor the activity of the equipment by both the manufacturer and the end user to curb misuse and abuse and to diagnose any malfunction. In addition to the ACUs, three ground power units were purchased to deliver alternative voltage supply for aircraft while on the ground. SAHCO's engineers constructed three toilet and two water bowsers from locally sourced materials.
