The software has been deployed at Austin-Bergstrom, Portland, Richmond and Seattle-Tacoma airports to provide ground handling crew with the ability to instantly record data on a flight.

Data they can record include flight arrival time, cargo door opening time, staffing levels and container movement.

NextGen says this greatly improves report accuracy and efficiency while reducing errors caused by illegible handwriting, lost paperwork or adverse weather conditions.

Bob Pfautz, Senior Manager for US Airside Operations at DHL, who is a NextGen customer, said: “The NextGen GHS platform NexOps provides unparalleled reporting and real-time visibility into our ground operations. We can track every step from aircraft arrival to departure, ensuring accurate data, fewer delays and improved decision-making.”

Ozgur Yesiltepe, President of NextGen GHS, said: “In keeping with our philosophy to bring ground handling services into the next generation, our unique software provides our airline partners with complete operational transparency, from aircraft arrival to departure.”

Key features of NexOps include real-time monitoring for airlines and stakeholders to track ground handling operations as they happen.

AI-integrated workflows enhance task scheduling, anomaly detection and operational forecasting.

Data-driven decision making with advanced reporting and analytics allow for performance tracking, compliance monitoring and strategic planning.

The customer portal gives airlines access to real-time updates on service requests, cargo movement and passenger support operations.

Operational management is enhanced with a centralised dashboard to efficiently allocate resources, schedule tasks and optimise workflows.
