New names at Airport Services Association

ASA - the Airport Services Association - has recently announced some important changes.

Jon Conway has been appointed Director-General whilst Sally Leible takes on the role of Chairperson.

A familiar figure in the ground handling world, Conway began his aviation career in 1973, when he joined BOAC Cargo (which later became British Airways Cargo), based at London Heathrow. Thereafter he served at Cathay Pacific and worked as Director of Hong Kong Airport Services, before joining dnata in 2008 as Divisional SVP.

As President of ATS, Sally Leible brings many years of ground handling experience to the table: she started as a Station Manager in St Louis, moved to Director of Operations, and was promoted to Vice President of Operations and then to Vice President of Sales & Marketing. She has been active in IATA/IGHC as well as the Airline Service Council.

Both positions will become effective on March 1.
