The contract will see Menzies deliver ground handling services to the Loganair fleet until July 2022, which will include six flights a day, and a total of 1,728 flights a year.
The contract win has also generated new employment opportunities with Menzies at Manchester airport, where it already provides ground handling, cabin cleaning and de-icing services to several other airlines.
Giles Wilson, Chief Executive Officer, said: “It is a testament to the great work of Menzies employees in Manchester that Loganair have awarded us this three year ground handling contract. The team on the ground worked tirelessly hard to deliver a start-up service for Loganair with limited notice, and we are extremely proud of our employees for being so responsive to a new customer’s needs. I look forward to building on our relationship with Loganair.”
