Heathrow puts its faith in Omniserv

Handling Talk
Omniserv, a subsidiary of ABM and the UK's leading airport service contractor, has won the Heathrow airport inter-terminal bus contract that connects four terminals (soon to be five) for those passengers transiting through the airport.

This gives Omniserv the opportunity to influence across every touch point in a passenger's journey at the global travel hub.

This contract win for Omniserv cements its leading market position in providing service to the travelling public. This award, along with its current contracts to provide assistance to passengers with reduced mobility and the ambassador contract, which handles many of the current passenger touch points, gives Omniserv the unique opportunity to create a seamless and elevated customer service proposition for all passengers who travel through London's principal airport. It also means that Omniserv now becomes a significant service provider across all its terminals, employing some 1,400 people at Heathrow. The five-year contract commenced when Omniserv took over from the existing provider NSL.

Earlier this year, Omniserv acquired leading specialised staffing and travel retail specialist Blackjack Promotions, to further expand the company's overall capabilities in servicing the end-to-end needs of both airlines and airport authorities.
