Malta's only independent ground handling company, Aviaserve is one of just two businesses certified to conduct passenger, ramp and cargo handling services at Malta International airport.
Aside from the name, however, nothing else plans to change, in terms of shareholding, the board or management.
Thanks to its reputation and loyal customer base, Aviaserve has a strong foundation on which to move forward under its own independent identity. Malcolm Camilleri, the company's CEO stated that "The values and the vision that drove the company forward are still very relevant and will be preserved. Similarly, the team that has served our customers so well over the last decade remains in place, driven by a renewed commitment to keep delivering a safe and reliable, quality operation."
Aviaserve will also be allying with Aviance, the international association of independent ground handlers. Malcolm Camilleri described the new membership as confirmation of the company's reputation as a wholly independent handler and "a strategic collaboration which gives us access to a network of peers that is spread over four continents, without compromising in any manner the autonomy we require to keep developing our business."
Managing Director of Aviance, Paul Craig, said of the collaboration: "We are very excited by this development, warmly welcome Aviaserve to the Aviance community and look forward to further consolidate the collaboration with Malta over the coming months."
