dnata switches to Damarel FiNDnet Enterprise at Zurich Airport

dnata Switzerland has switched to Damarel’s FiNDnet Enterprise solution at Zurich Airport, which will make ground handling operations more efficient.

Moving from FiNDnet Classic to Enterprise in Zurich means dnata is using the solution at all of its locations in Switzerland.

dnata had earlier switched to FiNDnet Enterprise in Geneva, which Managing Director of Damarel, John Boult said provided valuable experience and best practices so the Zurich team had a smooth transition.

Working together, Damarel provided dnata with expert guidance, technical support and training to deploy FiNDnet Enterprise smoothly and efficiently.

Boult said: “It was a partnership, combining dnata's operational expertise with Damarel's technical knowledge.”

He said the transition in Switzerland took two months, saying: “The Zurich location transition specifically was completed within a few weeks from go-ahead as we adapted our external gateways to ensure seamless data connections.”

The main benefits of FiNDnet Enterprise over the Classic product are the enhanced scalability and performance, providing improved speed and stability for modern operations, says Boult.

It also has a more intuitive and user-friendly interface and provides advanced data analytics reporting for greater insights into operations so users can make data-driven decisions.

FiNDnet Enterprise has improved integration with enhanced APIs and options for seamless data exchange with other airport systems.

As a cloud native system, it is designed with modern architecture for simplified deployments.

Every deployment provides Damarel with valuable lessons to refine future deployments, improve training materials and develop best practices for data migration and system integration.

Boult said: “These learnings have streamlined the Swiss transition and will serve as a foundation for future deployments with dnata and other clients.”

The migration in Zurich builds on Damarel’s partnership with dnata, having deployed FiNDnet Enterprise in Brazil and in the USA.
