Following the addition of services at Multan International to the subsidiary's repertoire in May, Quetta International joined the line-up in June and, a month later, was followed by Faisalabad International. These investments bring the total expenditure to "over US$4m," according to a statement from dnata.
In the light of this expansion, the Pakistani subsidiary expects to increase its staff numbers by 140 with a view to strengthening its operations at all three of its newest acquisitions.
Gerry's dnata Vice President, Syed Haris Raza, gave his opinion on the projects, stating: "This expansion will help the industry continue to grow and meet the needs of the travel and cargo communities. Our new locations add cargo capacity, passenger handling capabilities and create new jobs — a good thing for the industry and the economy," he added.
