Aviapartner and Scandinavian Airlines System SAS have announced that they have entered into exclusive discussions about outsourcing the SAS ground handling units in Malmo and Gothenburg.
The parties intend to successfully conclude the deal in the last quarter of 2017.
This divestment of ground handling units is a continuation of SAS's strategical path that involves outsourcing the services at the carrier's non-hub locations. For Aviapartner, the opportunity brings an opportunity for further strengthening its close co-operation with a strategic partner, together with the possibility of expanding the existing footprint of its network.
