This session will explore the challenge of meeting a massive spike in volumes while ensuring there were no own goals with delays or lost baggage. How did QAS create a world-cup winning strategy in partnership with their people?

Innovation: Augmented reality glasses, drones and talking ULDs

A look at a suite of projects to innovate in ground handling operations through new technology. The session will explore a project to equip ramp staff with AR glasses that project real-time loading instructions and safety information. The session will also look at the application of drones at the airport and the evolution of ‘talking’ ULDs in cargo.
