The journey all started thanks to one ingenious man, Axel Åkerman, who set up his electrical company in 1924 that he named after himself. The family business grew over the decades, with people always at the heart of its success. It was later rebranded AXA Power before being acquired by US giant Illinois Tool Works (ITW) in 2000.
Elvstrøm shares the reasons behind the company's success over 100 years: innovation, high-quality products and focus on the quality of life of its team members.
