Yusen Logistics (Benelux) has been awarded IATA’s CEIV-Pharma certification
This makes the company the first airfreight forwarder at Amsterdam's Schiphol airport to achieve the designation. The initiative is seen as part of a larger collaboration between Schiphol Cargo and Air Cargo Netherlands in shaping the airport as the preferred pharma gateway for Europe.
On this subject, earlier in the year Schiphol launched Pharma Gateway Amsterdam, the community-based cool chain logistics programme aimed at enhancing the movement of both temperature- and time-sensitive cargo.
