Delta Cargo has been awarded IATA’s Centre of Excellence for Independent Validators (or CEIV) certification.
The certification, which relates to pharmaceutical handling, means that Delta becomes the first global carrier based in the US to receive such a distinction.
In conjunction with its CEIV-certified partner (Air France/KLM-Martinair Cargo), Delta Cargo can now operate a CEIV-pharma trans-Atlantic network. This will have the effect of connecting Delta’s hub in Atlanta, Georgia, with other CEIV-certified partners, stations and handlers which are spread around mainland Europe, including Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels, Milan and Rome.
