The Bigfoot S is designed for customers who need big towing and payload in tighter facility spaces or want better freight density.
It is 12 inches shorter than the standard Bigfoot and with a payload of up to 2,000lbs and a towing capacity of up to 5,000lbs, it can haul 21 bags of 94lb cement or tow a car.
The compact Bigfoot S has a wheelbase that is 50 inches shorter, an overall length of 118.5 inches shorter, and turning radius that is 16% shorter at 115 inches than a standard Bigfoot.
Its turning radius is 9.5% shorter than the competition.
The Bigfoot S has a 6hp motor and a 36-volt battery configuration, and a range of 40-50 miles.
To reduce battery wear and tear, the battery contains a disconnect feature that cuts off power after 10 minutes of inactivity.
Luke Mulvaney, Senior Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer of Waev, said: “Not all customers need the extensive payload capacity of the Bigfoot or Bigfoot XL, and that’s where the Bigfoot S comes in. The small but mighty model increases operation inclusivity by offering our lighter application customers all they need, without paying for capacity they don’t.”
