Talma Servicios Aeroportuarios has renewed ISAGO (IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations) certification for its head office and station in Lima, Peru.

The certificates cover the organisation and management, passenger and baggage handling, aircraft handling and loading, aircraft ground movement and cargo and mail handling to confirm the best practices are being implemented.

The first certificate covers Talma Peru’s head office and its subsidiary stations in Mexico, Ecuador and Colombia.

In Mexico, it covers the Mexico City stations of Benito Juarez International Airport and Felipe Angeles International Airport.

In Ecuador, the certificate covers Mariscal Sucre International Airport in Quito and Jose Joaquin de Olmedo International Airport in Guayaquil.

In Colombia, El Dorado International Airport in Bogota, Alfonso Bonilla International Airport in Cali and Jose Maria Cordova International Airport in Medellin are covered.

The second ISAGO certificate covers operations at Jorge Chavez International Airport in Lima, Peru.

Arturo Cassinelli, Corporate General Manager at Talma, said: “Obtaining ISAGO certifications for the sixth time is a testament to the hard work and constant dedication of our great team. At Talma, we strive to offer safe, fast and efficient airport services to world-class standards, and this renewal is evidence of our commitment to quality, excellence and operational safety.”

Talma also has IATA CEIV Pharma, Fresh and Lithium Batteries certificates, is a certified Smart Facility, and holds CBTA Corporate and Provider certificates, recognising the Talma Training School as the only school in Peru certified to provide companies with training for air transport of lithium batteries.
