The certificate was renewed after independent audits covering Talma Peru’s ground handling and cargo services at Jorge Chavez International Airport and Talma Mexico’s cargo operations at Mexico City International Airport.
The independent auditors evaluated operational processes, policies and procedures to make sure they were aligned with the highest quality and safety standards set out by IATA.
Arturo Cassinelli, Corporate General Manager of Talma, said: “We are proud to receive this certification once again, reflecting our unwavering commitment to safety, quality, efficiency and operational excellence in each of our airport service processes.”
Adriana Canseco, CEO of Talma Mexico, added: “Obtaining this certification for the second time is further evidence that our airport services meet the highest international standards for the handling and movement of pharmaceutical cargo.”
In Peru, Talma also holds ISAGO Provider and Station certificates, CEIV Fresh and CEIV Lithium Batteries certificates and is registered as a Smart Facility.
Talma Peru holds CBTA Corporate and Provider certification recognising the Talma Training School as the only school in Peru certified to train both its collaborators and other companies in the airport sector for handling dangerous goods.
Talma Mexico holds ISAGO Station, CEIV Lithium Batteries and Smart Facility certificates, in addition to CEIV Pharma.
