"We are pleased to be able to serve our airline customers at Berlin Airport with professional ground services for another seven years. The licence extension is a credit to all our people," said Philipp Frech, Head of Germany & Austria at Swissport International AG.
"At Berlin Airport, we will continue to prioritise training and providing highly qualified staff. We’ll also invest in state-of-the-art equipment – most of which is electrically powered – to further improve the carbon footprint of our operation and contribute towards greener aviation."
