In partnership with Astana International airport and AMG, (the trust management company for the chain of airports in Kazakhstan), Swissport Kazakhstan seeks to collaboratively improve the quality of ground handling services to meet international standards.
Last month, Swissport Kazakhstan and Astana International airport signed a contract in an official ceremony, agreeing to jointly develop ground handling operations at the airport. This co-operation is based on the Government of Kazakhstan´s desire to upgrade its airports and ground services to achieve compliance with international regulations and to prepare them for the EXPO 2017 in Astana.
Vladimir Semenchenko, CEO Swissport Kazakhstan and VP CIS Countries Swissport International, said: "We are pleased to jointly develop the market of ground handling services at Astana airport.
