Ben Allen was handed the SGS golden boarding pass by Mohammed Abdulkareem Mazi, CEO of SGS, during a special ceremony at Ground Handling International's silver anniversary conference at the CCIB in Barcelona on 4 December.
SGS was one of the Gold sponsors at this year's record-breaking Annual GHI event which saw over 900 delegates pass through the doors and where more than 5,000 meetings were held.
Allen was the first to be presented with the honorary recognition before Mazi gave out more awards to their other successful partners including senior executive representatives from BOMBELLI, Goldhofer and Mallaghan.
Speaking to GHI Magazine after collecting the award, he said: "It was such an honour to have been presented with the SGS golden Partnership Boarding Pass by SGS - Saudi Ground Services CEO Mohammed Abdulkareem Mazi at the Ground Handling International 25th Anniversary Annual Conference in Barcelona today in recognition of the mutual support between our companies."
