The Skyway Aviation Handling Company (SAHCO) has taken over the ground handling services for British Airways.
Through this development, SAHCO will be providing passenger and ramp handling services to British Airways at Nnamdi Azikiwe airport, Abuja, and at Murtala Muhammed International airport, Lagos. The change took effect with the handling of the evacuation flight, which occurred on May 8, 2020.
In a similar vein, Air France has signed another warehousing contract with SAHCO at Nnamdi Azikiwe International airport. This means that SAHCO will provide a cargo warehousing service throughout the country for Air France. SAHCO has hitherto been handling Air France’s cargo warehousing requirements in Lagos and Port Harcourt, which has influenced the carrier to include the Abuja operation.
