QuikJet Cargo begins Bengaluru route

Cargo Matters
On February 16, QuikJet Cargo began operations to Kempegowda International airport.

Freighters will now fly to Kempegowda six times a week, where they will be handled by Menzies Aviation Bobba (Bangalore) and Globe Ground India, the airline’s ground handling partner.

The 737-400F aircraft, which features a new livery combining both Sovika and QuikJet Airlines’ logos, has a 19-tonne payload and will operate between Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad and Bangalore.

In 2015, Sovika, the Mumbai-headquartered logistics specialist, decided to launch domestic freighter operations, leasing the 737-400F aircraft from QuikJet, which had already secured its Scheduled Air Operators Permit from the Indian Directorate General of Civil Aviation. Sovika, which has offices in every major city in India, now has vast experience spanning manifold disciplines, including aircraft leasing, charters, ground handling, cargo handling, warehousing and terminal management, and operates from 31 airports across India.
