Qantas is to sell its catering arm to dnata, in Australia.

Although monetary terms were not disclosed, the settlement means that over 1,000 Qantas employees will move to dnata once the sale is finalised. Henceforth, dnata will be provide catering facilities on Qantas flights for a ten year term. The agreement now awaits the approval of the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission.
Qantas’s catering businesses include Q Catering and Snap Fresh, the former operating food preparation centres in Sydney, Perth, Melbourne and in Brisbane.
