Earlier in the year, East Midlands airport, at Castle Donington, in the UK, announced its plans to launch a new premium lounge.
A part of the airport's £12m terminal redevelopment programme, the Escape Lounge is said to offer an improved area for passengers to relax in before departure. The lounge will provide passengers with a selection of complimentary food and drink, free wi-fi access and a range of newspapers and magazines. The lounge opened as planned during August.
