Van Gelder has extensive experience in senior management positions within the air cargo industry, specifically in relation to special products such as pharmaceuticals and perishables.
Commenting on his appointment, he said: “I look forward to serving and leading this organisation to a higher level in our industry," adding that the Pharma.Aero initiative a “reliable facilitator” in enhancing the supply chain of life science products in airfreight.

With the appointment of the Secretary General, Pharma.Aero is gearing up to further develop into a unique platform for cross industry collaboration.”
