
The office in Islamabad will serve as a hub for Menzies’ IT and service operations, reflecting its long-term commitment to south Asia.
Prime Minister Muhammed Shehbaz Sharif unveiled a commemorative plaque to open the office.
He was joined by Philipp Joeinig, CEO of Menzies Aviation and a delegation including Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, Minister of State for IT, Shaza Fatima Khawaja along with John Henderson, SVP Operations MEA at Menzies Aviation, to discuss opportunities to foster collaboration and sustainable economic growth.
Joeinig said: “Opening these offices is not just an investment in Pakistan’s infrastructure but also a commitment to expanding opportunities in the region. Our meeting with the Prime Minister reinforced our shared vision of driving growth through innovation and technology and creating new employment opportunities for young people in the region.”
Menzies operates as Menzies-RAS in Pakistan following a joint venture with Royal Airport Services in 2020.
Menzies-RAS employs more than 2,000 people and has operations at Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Multan, Faisalabad, Quetta and Sialkot.
