Menzies Aviation and Jazeera Airways extend partnership

Menzies Aviation has extended its agreement with Jazeera Airways with passenger, ramp and cargo contracts at 7 airports in 5 countries.

At Kuwait International Airport, Menzies Aviation, operating as National Aviation Services (NAS), has signed a 5-year agreement to continue providing ground and cargo handling services for more than 1,400 flights a month.

NAS will also manage Jazeera Airways’ T5 Pearl lounge in Jazeera Terminal 5.

At Islamabad International Airport in Pakistan, the Menzies-RAS team managed Jazeera Airways’ inaugural flight from Kuwait, providing passenger, ramp and cargo services. Menzies-RAS, refers to Menzies' acquisition of a stake in Royal Airport Services in Pakistan.

In Europe, Menzies secured new contracts at Tivat International Airport in Montenegro and Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport in Serbia.

The contracts build on the existing relationship at Jinnah International Airport and Allama Iqbal International Airport in Pakistan and Queen Alia International Airport in Jordan.

Lukasz Skorupa, EVP Commercial at Menzies Aviation, said: “We have built a strong relationship with the airline since we began working with them in 2005, first as NAS and now as Menzies Aviation. We are delighted to continue delivering our ground, cargo and lounge services in Kuwait and new locations in the airline’s growing network across the Middle East, Central and South Asia, Europe and Africa.”
