Sheremetyevo International Airport cargo operator Moscow Cargo has renewed its IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations (ISAGO) audit.
The audit is conducted every two years, establishing strict requirements for aircraft handling operations and ground handling of cargo and mail.
It contains requirements not normally found in the Russian regulatory environment, such as risk management, a quality programme, and training personnel for emergency situations.
ISAGO helps the handler to improve the quality of handling services and helps eliminate the need for individual carriers to conduct inspections.
The auditors paid particular attention to Moscow Cargo’s services for cargo-only flights where passenger aircraft were being used just for cargo.
