Menzies renews with Lufthansa Group at Heathrow

Menzies Aviation has confirmed the renewal of its contract to provide full suite ground handling services to five airlines at London Heathrow airport – it’s single largest contract at the airport.

The contract with Lufthansa Group, commencing November 1, 2019, will run for a three-and-a-half-year term, following a successful year in which Menzies completed a total of 28,426 turns for the airline group. The partnership between Menzies Aviation and Lufthansa Group at London Heathrow dates back to 2008.

The contract will see Menzies servicing 48 flights per day for the group, with passenger and ramp services for Austrian Airlines, Lufthansa, SWISS, Brussels Airlines and Eurowings included. Airside trucking services will also be provided for Austrian Airlines, Lufthansa and Brussels Airlines.
